Yoel Bibas

As an emerging artist, Yoel Bibas seeks to authentically express the rhythm, pulse and beauty of life through the drums. Born and raised in southern California, Yoel pursued his musical education at the Rimon School of Music in Israel and San Francisco State University, where he received a degree in Jazz Performance. Having reverence and gratitude for the mentors that have guided and enriched his musical journey, Yoel enjoys the gift of imparting knowledge and experience to students who share his passion for the instrument. Over the past several years Yoel has performed throughout the Bay Area, in multiple cities across the country and abroad. Following his natural affinity for music beyond the drum set, Yoel finds expression and exaltation through songwriting and composition under the name VIVAS. With great love and excitement for all styles of music, Yoel welcomes each new project as it comes, serving the music above all else.
