IRIE is feeling blessed to introduce the Mauritian band, Nezāri, whose album is being released on Zanana Records. The album is titled, Premie Vibrasion, and was recorded at The Studio, Mauritius. Nezāri breathes Mauritian Funk, Reggae, Seggae & Jazz Kreol sounds and formed itself at Kenzi Bar on the coast of Flic-en-Flac in 2009, with the sound improvisation and freestyle of singing. Their inspiration comes from the various resources of nature, including Chamarel, where the Rastafarian Tabernacle is held.

Their philosophy is such that, the power of this happy and harmonious time comes from similar minds, acting as a train that reaches to carry you out of the darkness towards an omnipresent light. Everyone can feel the positivity from the levity of deep and mystic sounds, and it’s such that the connection comes naturally when the first note comes across your ears.

The aspect that is more important to the band is communication. From the singer to the audience, the most essential part of them is that everyone is involved in the vibration. More than words, our band cherishes energies that we receive from the audience and what we are able to give back. Disregarding every social construct and preconception, this is the best vibe that we could share with each other.
