Artist Khxos is one of the new era crossover artists from Jamaica to surface onto the scene. A songwriter who fuses Dancehall with a hint of R&B, pop and sometimes reggae, mixed with a unique voice, Khxos’s vocals alternate between rugged boasts and smooth tones with such lyrical and melodious prowess not seen from Jamaican artists. Khxos has made strides since 2016. In late 2017, Khxos released his debut album, ‘Dopamine’, which featured 13 tracks including his breakout single ‘Dopamine’. The feel-good single that gives you a positive vibe every time you listen to the track, says Khxos. Last year, Khxos amassed over 130K streams and singes such as Dopamine, Sexy Secret, Been on My Mind, and So Loud achieved success on airwaves across the world.

Khxos will release his titled EP ‘Melanin’ on March 8th International Women’s Day. The compelling 5 track EP embodies a collection of work empowering black beauty. The first single off the EP, ‘Jungle’ featuring the versatile Royal Blu takes you on a journey of the artist searching for his royal queen through the Jungle. The single has already gained over 10k streams in less than a month and has set the tone for the rest of singles on the EP which Khxos hopes to solidify his name in the music industry. The album features a slew of collaborations featuring dancehall superstar Konshens, Zagga, and new talents Kim Gebriel, Blvk H3ro, and Dehshh.

The EP, produced by Sean Alaric of Class One Music, marks another solid production by the talented producer known for his production from Khxos’s debut album ‘Dopamine’ and the single ‘Steamin’ by Fyakin. ‘Melanin’ the EP will be available on all digital platforms’ March 8th! Listen to ‘Jungle’ now!
