Ione Angeles has been in the Reggae scene for more than 20 years. In the 90’s while living in Jamaica, she joined with Legendary Soul Syndicate Drummer Max Edwards and formed their band TENGEH. They toured and lived in Europe for more than 10 years,and recorded 2 albums, 1995’s ‘Tengeh’, and 1998’s ‘Ascension 2012’. Upon returning to the States, She became a solo-artist and has recorded and performed with many Bands and Artists.

Past shows include: Sumfest (JA), House of Blues (San Diego) Open for Don Carlos., KUSI channel 8 (San Diego) Borders and Barnes and Noble CD Tour acrossThe States Cutting Edge Music Conference (New Orleans), Reggae on the Pier (CA), and many more! Recent shows have included: Opening for Frankie Paul (Oakland, CA) and performing with The Fully Fullwood Band, Huntington Beach (CA),Monterey Bay Reggae Fest 2013, Ashkenaz 2013 w/ RaggaLox. Weber Point Reggae Fest August 20th 2016 She has recorded with Pato Banton, Fully Fullwood, Half Pint, Shaka Man, and most recently Stamina Allstars.

While keeping the integrity and uniqueness of Reggae rythyms, Ione has added her special touch and style to spiritual, political, and fun songs. Her smooth vocal stylings and excellent song writing have made her music accessible to all ages and sectors of people.
