“I still remember hearing Ozomatli’s Cumbia de Los Muertos with Chali 2na. And then, from the first time guitar player Sam Day Harmet played me Cumbia Chuska, I was hooked. These guys have inspired me to channel my Transylvanian dub energy toward Latin American sounds that I love, like cumbia. I had to add some Ethereal vocals and some poetry to the mix.
Enjoy what is probably me and Petru’s most bass-heavy dance tune. Hopefully, it will ring and echo for a long time in the ears of cumbia lovers but also shake some feet on the dancefloor where it belongs.” – Lil Obeah
