Meet Zen Lewis… a skilled master in the synergies of Soul on Reggae, with elements of Ragga Hip-hop and Ska.
Zen’s many live performances include the Glastonbury festival on the Roots Stage (Dance Arena) with The Catch 22 Collective (project produced by Prash Mistry aka ‘Engine Earz Experiment’. The Catch 22 collective featured Zen Lewis, Deadly Hunta, Aruba Red, and others, with Engine Earz Experiment playing the Bassline Circus and BBC Introducing Stage. Zen was also featured on a Dub Step release called Charged Particle by Funt Case and Engine Earz, which got signed to Circus Records.
Zen became in demand for more standalone live outings performing the ‘Wenti Wadada Positive Reggae stage’ at Exit Festival in Serbia and supported The Dub Pistols at the 02 Academy Oxford.
2018 saw Zen release his EP ‘My Meditation’ with music videos for tracks ‘State of Emergency’ and ‘Wicked World feat. Deadly Hunta’.
This was followed by his anthemic single ‘Warrior’ in Summer of 2019, which has been Jungle remixed by DnB pioneer Nicky Black Market and also Ricky Tuff & Isacc Maya which was signed to the mighty Jungle Cakes Record Label.

To keep the live performance momentum going during 2020/21, Zen performed on several Jungle Cakes live streams alongside many top rankin’ djs and artists such as Ed Solo, Deekline, Jessie G, Miss Pink, MC Navigator, and Leanne Louise.
Zen’s Reggae fusion sound is powerful and unique, and his message is authentic, honest, and emotive with depth and meaning in his writing, not forgetting some straight-up party vibe bangers to light it up! He is a versatile artist with a sweet and powerful singing voice and a dope MC with a background in HipHop that he seamlessly and uniquely blends in his music.
Zen has now teamed up with Apache Indian for his next release entitled ‘Walk Through Fire’, which is sure to heat up the dance floor and cause a blaze in the reggae scene! Zen is also currently working toward releasing his debut album!
