Trevy James is a highly versatile musician, songwriter, and recording artist from San Diego, CA. He is one of the most original reggae voices out of the United States today with a stylistic blend of roots reggae, lover’s rock, vintage R&B, and conscious hip-hop. Anchored by his Berklee College of Music-trained abilities on keyboards, he is known for his unique performance style of both singing and rapping while simultaneously handling keyboard duties. Since 2017, Trevy has been at the forefront of San Diego’s reggae and R&B/soul communities, performing both as a solo artist and with the bands Psydecar and Heaping Teaspoon. His blended influence style, high-ranking musicianship, and thematic focus on love, positivity, and passion result in a truly unique sound with broad appeal.
