Sgt. Remo is collaborating with Jamaican reggae star Chezidek on the powerful single ‘Stand Up.’ The single premieres on all platforms on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024. Produced and mixed by Kutral Dub (Chile) and mastered by Oddiowave (Gold Beach, OR), the single makes a powerful statement against the ongoing wars around the world. The single was recorded while Chezidek and Sgt. Remo was in Mexico City for a performance.
Chezidek is a Jamaican roots reggae singer known for his hit singles Call Pon Dem (featured in Grand Theft Auto IV), All My Life, Inna Di Road, Champion, and Leave the Trees. The official video for his hit All My Life has amassed over 41M views on YouTube.
Chezidek has recorded for renowned producers Phillip “Fattis” Burrell, Bobby “Massive B” Konders, Irie Ites, Little Lion Sound, and many others. Chezidek is a prolific performer who has traveled the world several times.
The single Stand Up is part of the upcoming Sgt. Remo album (2025). The full-length album will also feature collaborations with Fidel Nadal, Gappy Ranks, Jr. Dread, Kutral Dub, and others.
