Zolopht

Flexor

Established in 2009, Zolopht has become a premier act in the Colorado music scene. Loosely described as psychedelic reggae-rock, Zolopht has an entirely unique sound that is as catchy as it is progressive.

Lovingly crafted music and rigorous touring has provided the band diehard fans around the country and beyond. Zolopht has shared the stage with artists such as: The Wailers, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Dirty Heads, Tribal Seeds, Passafire, Ballyhoo! and Katchafire.
With two full-length studio efforts, ‘Ph-Balanced’ (2014) and ‘Flexor’ (2015) under their belt and a third on the way, Zolopht has gained an unstoppable momentum.

Zolopht members include Zac Grant (Rhythm Guitar/Vocals), Cam Vilar (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Geoff Mueck (Bass Guitar), Jared Schmidt (Drums/Vocals), Greg Indivero (Percussion), Ian McGowan (Violin), Daniel Ohlson (Trumpet) and Cody Krieger (Saxophone).

When you experience Zolopht perform live, you’ll quickly discover that the guys love making music, and most importantly, they love sharing it with their fans and friends on stage. Their sound is truly unique; a heavy blend of reggae, blues, rock & bluegrass influences. Zolopht utilizes three part harmonies alongside a full horn section to produce this unique and welcoming sound.

Irie Magazine invites you to open up your ears and welcome Zolopht into your mind and soul. We did!
