Tréson

Canada

When Tréson picks up a guitar and starts playing, his voice and demeanor transforms into a spiritual energy that reaches out and touches everyone who is listening or watching. On any given song, this gifted singer-songwriter can reveal the soul of Otis Redding, the pure pop energy of Michael Jackson, the lovers rock vibe of Dennis Brown, the gospel gravitas of Kirk Franklin and the reggae firebrand presence of Peter Tosh. His personal story is one of overcoming incredible odds to achieve so many of his musical dreams.

In 2010 Tréson recorded in Jamaica at Tuff Gong Studio with Michael ‘Kos’ Dillon of Pha Real Entertainment, who introduced him to Computer Paul who produced the hit “At This Moment” originally sung by Billy Vera.

This collaboration resulted in “Life on the Rocks” featuring Grammy Award Winner Michael Rose which was distributed across Europe and made its radio debut with UK reggae legend Sir David Rodigan on KISS FM. Other Kos produced singles included “Lola” and “Oh Mama” which were released in the UK and Europe to commercial radio stations as well as “Jah Seh” featuring Khago which debuted at #7 on the Italian reggae charts.

Having also previously worked with other top engineers and producers in the reggae industry — such as Sly and Robbie, C ‘Specialist’ Dillon, Shane Brown, Clive Hunt, Alborosie, and Rolland McDermott — Tréson is once again gearing up to record and perform as a solo artist in addition to regular recording
and touring across Canada with The Human Rights. Watch out for new Tréson music in 2018!
