Formed in 2014, SOUL SKA is a 10 piece Bay Area Ska collective featuring members of well-known bands such as Vinyl, Monophonics, Albino!, Stymie & the PJLO, El Radio Fantastique, The Right Time, Jethro Jeremiah Band and more.

Their upbeat and original blend of Ska, Rocksteady and Roots Reggae has garnered them wide praise and a devout following. They have been a featured act at large festivals such as Sierra Nevada World Music Festival (Mendocino), Summer Arts & Music (Humboldt), Ocean Beach Fest (SF) and more.

SOUL SKA has supported such legendary acts as Yellowman, Israel Vibrations, Capleton, Don Carlos (Black Uhuru), Fishbone and Third World among others. Dave Wakeling of The English Beat said “Soul Ska is Smashing!” after their raucous opening set at SF’s Independent recently.

Their debut album ‘Propaganda’ on Ska Syndicate records produced by David Simon Baker (ALO, Jackie Greene, Mother Hips) released on March 23, 2018, at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco.
