Simple Creation

Simple Creation started in early 2008 in the Sacramento area with brothers Travis Olmos (Drums/Vocals) and Zach Olmos (Guitar/Vocals) and later added Alex Giranis (Bass) and Joey Steeb (Keys). The band has quickly become one of Northern California’s premier reggae and reggae cover bands featuring over 4 hours of songs by the likes of Bob Marley, Sublime, UB40, Gregory Issacs, and many more!

Simple Creation brings a solid foundation of reggae blended with touches of roots, rock, and dub. The guys have had the chance to share the stage with some of reggae music’s biggest stars including The Green, Inner Circle, J. Boog, Katchafire, Israel Vibration, Rebelution, Tribal Seeds, and Don Carlos. Simple Creation plans to release their 2nd full-length, self-recorded album ‘Reign On The Mountain Top’ Spring 2016.

Early 2016 Simple Creation will be performing a month long tribute to one of the greatest Reggae artists of all time, Bob Marley. ‘Month of Marley’ will begin the last weekend of January and continue on through the end of February.

The band will be jammin full Bob Marley cover sets up to 3 hours. It will be a sponsored, very well promoted tour with some of the proceeds being donated to charity. Some of the songs we will be featuring include ‘Is This Love,’ ‘Waiting In Vain,’ ‘Satisfy My Soul,’ ‘Could You Be Loved,’ ‘I Shot the Sheriff,’ ‘One Drop,’ Buffalo Soldier,’ ‘Stir It Up,’ ‘Iron Lion Zion,’ ‘Get Up, Stand Up’ and many more..!
