The band members hail from Jamaica/London, New Zealand, Mauritius, Brazil, Samoa, and Sri Lanka. They all came together in Melbourne, Australia, to create a fascinating melting pot of reggae styles.

Three lead vocalists front crown Heights; Marvin Priest, an Independent artist of over ten years and son of legendary reggae artist Maxi Priest and also co-founder of Crown Heights; Rik E Ragga, a finalist on the channel 9 show The Voice and co-founder of Crown Heights; and Dufty Kare Martin, former T-rhythm vocalist.

The experience is evident of this ensemble of Melbourne’s crème de la crème of musicians who are: Brett Direx (drums), Jahwise (bass), Jason Davis (guitar), and Frankey D’Mayne Johnson (keyboards).
