IRIE is proud to welcome back our family member, Dubmatix, the award-winning Canadian composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and seven-time JUNO Award winner and nominee. The Toronto-born Dubmatix is a recording machine. From his debut release Champion Sound Clash in 2004, Dubmatix has produced and recorded over 500 releases (Albums, EPs, Dubs, Remixes).

Over the years, Dubmatix has managed to carve out a massive following on the international stage. He’s also worked with the Who’s Who of reggae legends, including: Alton Ellis, Freddie McGregor, Pinchers, Sugar Minott, Willi Williams, Ranking Joe, Anthony B, Turbulence, Eek-A-Mouse, Horace Andy, Linval Thompson, Mykal Rose, Wayne Smith, Luciano, U Roy, Cornell Campbell, The Mighty Diamonds, Dennis Alcapone, Prince Alla, Lone Ranger and dozens more.

For 2021, Dubmatix has teamed up with IRIE to present his REMIX Contest… War, Peace & Dub ft Rasta Reuben (2021).

“This track goes back to my very first song on his first release, ‘Champion Sound Clash’ in 2004. I’m making the original stems plus a few newly added ones available for the first time for you to remix, dub, mashup, and twist up. IRIE and I will be selecting the top tracks to form a release to share with my subscribers on Reggae-Loops.com, Dubmatix.com, and my network of radio, soundsystems, djs and media around the world.” – DUBMATIX
