Feel Like Making Love

Songbird Aysha Loren hails from West London and the rise of this star has been a long time coming. Having first become aware of her voice after becoming a finalist in a local talent show, Aysha signed a deal with Jetstar Records by the time she was 15. Shortly after, her very first single ‘Say My Name’ was released – which was featured on ‘Pop Hits Ina Reggae Vol.1’ (1999).

From there, Aysha went on to support huge acts like Destiny’s Child and Jon B, primarily singing R&B music. Since then, she has become an independent artist with complete creative control over her material and has decided to record more lovers rock.

“I’ve always loved both genres, but when I was singing just R&B, I felt like something was missing. I then decided to fuse the two together”. Despite her huge success and a rising reputation, Aysha chose to take a break from the demands of the music industry to start a family, but could never quite walk away, continuing to write and build up an impressive catalogue of material just waiting to be shared with the world. After being asked to perform at a Whitney Houston tribute concert, her spark was rekindled, and she set about making a name for herself again…

Now it’s finally time for Aysha to return to the spotlight where she belongs. As a tantalizing taster of things to come, her single ‘Keep It Like This’ leaked earlier this year, instantly launching her back onto the music scene as one of the most requested radio singles for nearly a month running. It was soon followed by her first new EP, Back To You, in July.

She’s been busy ever since racking up an impressive array of achievements, one including reaching the finals of the National UK Open Mic Competition.

Having performed with legends such as the late Sir John Holt and Frankie Paul, Janet Kay and Luciano, she also owned her guest slot at Christopher Ellis’ sold-out Jazz Café show – grabbing the attention of many new fans.

Aysha is currently enjoying the success of her single ‘Keep It Like It Is’ which has peaked in the Top 5 of the Reggae bestsellers category on Amazon – the world’s largest online retailer. Bookings are piling up and a hotly anticipated launch event for her debut EP ‘Back To You’ at the Cavendish Banqueting Suite did not shy on giving her musical fans what they expected.
