Meet MADELINE MINX, the driving force behind the artistic movement better known as PUSHY, which she co-founded with Olivia Herd. Minx is a filmmaker, entertainer, film professor, and cult star who pushes her way into almost every area of popular media from her presidential campaign with Olivia Herd “Pushy for President and First Lady” to her multimedia live shows in which she rants, sings, dances and takes you on a visual metamorphosis which her mom has described as mescaline art rock meets perverted porn.” Minx doesn’t understand why her mom gets bent out of shape about her in-your-face lyrics that push the envelope of sexual innuendo and humor.
MINX has performed all over the SF Bay Area and beyond and directs her own music videos. Her self-directed music video FEMINEM was featured in The Huffington Post. Her music video SUCK IT UP screened at South by Southwest Film Festival. Her music video RABBI OF RAP was an online pick of the month for the SF Jewish Film Festival. Minx’s vinyl record UNLEASH YOUR SOUL appeared on numerous dance charts around the country, and heavy rotation on radio stations New York’s WHCR, Chicago’s WCRX and Lexington’s WLKT.
As MADELINE MINX, the quirky, sexy poptronica sensation is pushing her way onto the scene with what is sure to quickly become the indie-raunch dance-floor anthem the summer: “Sushy Pushy Blow”. The single just dropped and will be followed in May by the music video starring Madeline Minx, Sushi music producer SRGK and Bay Area Drag Superstar HEKLINA.
Sushi Pushy Blow is dedicated to Heklina, legendary actor, emcee, and entrepreneur who passed away this April, devastating the San Francisco drag community which she helped give birth to.

MINX’s live shows include the Castro Halloween party, South By Southwest Music Festival, North by Northwest, the Exotic Erotic Ball at Cow Palace Arena, and the Folsom Street Fair. She’s performed at Pianos and Lit in New York City and at San Francisco clubs, including the Great American Music Hall, Bottom of the Hill, Trannyshack, Hotel Utah, and Broadway Studios. Madeline Minx won the SLAM competition at Oakland’s hottest monthly event, Tourettes Without Regrets (now known as the Ruckus and Rumpus Revival, for which she was awarded a really cool gold beer can.
