The soulful star recently received the 2017 CARAH Awards for Excellence in the Arts, an award for the impact of her music to the reggae scene in the United States. Such honor was given to her alongside such notables as Dr.the Hon. Henry Lowe, Scientist and Inventor, also of Jamaican heritage; among others.
Just as fans of the songbird eagerly await the release of her forthcoming 2018 “Reggae Forever” album, Etana debuts the scorching video for the album’s second single “Burned”via renowned international “Irie Magazine” (www.irieMag.com/irie-channel/watch/etana/burned). Filmed in Jamaica by famed multi-award winner video director Jay Will, the video translates in a short movie, and displays a different side of the reggae star. The latter is paired with the “Strong One’ covering the November issue of Irie Magazine,as Etana shared insight on the album itself “Reggae Forever”, and her upcoming tour with twice Grammy nominated J Boog.
