It’s ‘I’fficial! Production on Dread & Alive: Nine Night has officially begun! IRIE Magazine’s founder and Editor-in-Chief, Nicholas Da Silva, who goes by his artist name, ZOOLOOK, has brought the original team back to produce the next story arc in the Dread & Alive series, Nine Night™. The series timeline begins on October 30, 2016, and takes place in an alternate Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco (aka The City) but with the same racial, religious, and political (politricks) climate.
Nine Night™ will be a 12-chapter graphic novel series with each issue featuring an exclusive reggae soundtrack. The first track, TROD, which released back in January 2019, has seen an uptick in streams and sales due to the popularity of the series. ZOOLOOK will be releasing the ‘Nine Night’ riddim this fall along with several other original tracks from the first soundtrack. Look for the first preview of Dread & Alive: Nine Night on Halloween 2020!

San Francisco has a creepy secret… a dark history of cemeteries hidden throughout the city. Next Month, ZOOLOOK, will take you on a late-night excursion to unearth (explore) these forgotten graveyards… some of them still haunted by duppies.
