After successfully launching Shero Records Ltd in 2019, founder, singer and rising female producer Harmonie Dèja kick starts its launch with a self-produced Roots-Reggae EP entitled ‘Herb Root Riddim’ complete with a Medley video showcasing a compilation of artists from Jamaica to the UK, in accordance with the international 4/20 celebrations.

The ‘Herb Root Riddim’ EP features tracks from former Raging Fyah frontman Kumar, Jahkirk, Ras Tavaris and Kitty Corbin. A high quality, solid, original production with each artist bringing their own lyrical slice of wisdom, reality and subtle humor, which makes the compilation a real treat for Roots-Reggae fans.

No stranger to the music industry, Harmonie sprung onto the music scene as a backing vocalist, touring worldwide alongside renowned Reggae artists including Luciano Messenjah and Freddie McGregor, and further developed her talent for producing Reggae, mentored by Blacklindy the brother of Reggae veteran Max Romeo.

In 2018, on return from a gig, Harmonie was unexpectedly diagnosed with Breast Cancer and turned her focus to music for upliftment, and created the Herb Root Riddim. After a year of chemotherapy, with a new, enlightened view of life, she launched Shero Records Ltd.

Now recovered and one year Cancer free, Shero Records has become one to watch. The multi-talented, West London born producer aspires to inspire and break stereotypes of women in a male-dominated music industry.
