An artist and a nomad, Reya, originally from Vancouver, her island home on the west coast of Canada now calls Paris home. She forged her style on stages from coast to coast in Canada, through France and into Mexico. She has shared the stage with such international artists as Omar Perry, Magic System, Flavia Coelho, Kana, Danakil, Lion Stepper, Shaman Culture and Nomadic Massive.

Reya’s artistic and activist beliefs radiate energy and compassion. Her lyrics denounce ecological and economic injustices and violence against women, while defending the right to love without discrimination. Reya Sunshine is an ambassador for peace and tolerance.
