Portmore award winning artiste JahJah, the critically acclaimed R&B singer have steadily been making waves musically, gaining radio airplay both locally and internationally with the blend of Reggae/R&B/Dancehall.

Singer/Studio Engineer Jahmai “JahJah” Smith, born February 15, 1988 grew up in Kingston, Jamaica with parents who are themselves both accomplished musicians. His father, legendary guitarist Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith and mother Maria Baines, former singer with the popular 80’s group ‘The Mammas’ helped mould this talented and soulful brother, giving him a firm musical footing to continue that rich legacy.

Since childhood he shared a love for music, listening to his father making music for his then High Times Records Label, he quickly grasped all the necessary ingredients needed to produce hit quality music. With older brother ‘Earl Jr.’ Smith, the multi-talented, producer/engineer, singer, and C.E.O of Home Grown Muzik coaching and guiding him, JahJah’s natural inbred talent has been nurtured and fine-tuned. The results are clear for all to see.

He successfully fused Reggae/R&B/Dancehall to create his own unique style.
