Gobey & P-Gial

Gobey & P-Gial is a reggae/ragga project formed in Aigio, Greece.

They are members of Balkan Riddims (digital reggae) and founders of Just Dread (roots reggae non-active band) with whom they have released several music videos, singles, EPs and a full-length album.

Since they were looking for a new way to express themselves musically and spiritually, Gobey & P-Gial starting playing as a duo. They have performed many gigs and festivals all over Greece ( Athens, Thessaloniki, Larisa, Tripoli, Patra etc). The highlight of their career was their supporting act for Kadebostany at Palaia Sfageia, Patra in September 2015.

Gobey & P-Gial music is a blend of reggae, ragga-rockers style and Mediterranean elements with spiritually qualified lyrics, based on the code of love and unity aiming to the conscience of the audience. Their influences originate from the Carribean vibes of Jamaica, the beat of the African drums and rhythm as well as the new wave of Californian reggae. Based on their cultural identity, they would like to call themselves representatives of the Greek Yard Movement.
As a duo, they have released a single-music video on the worldwide known German reggae magazine, Reggaeville, called ‘Trust’ with great feedback and another single called ‘Music Has No Borders’. This tune features Jorge, an upcoming greek artist.
