WORLDWIDE – July 2, 2018 – 4:20 pm – IRIE™, the reggae magazine for everything roots rock reggae music, today released its June 2018 Cali Reggae edition of IRIE™ featuring Nattali Rize & Kelissa on the cover as they represent Roots Reggae music with the completion of their California Rizing Tour! Maaaad Love & Respect!

Artists featured in the RESPECT section include Fari DiFuture (Jamaica), BDRA (Nigeria), Huge Andrew (Antigua and Barbuda), Young Veterans (Jamaica), Jef Stott (United States) and Kenzhaay (Jamaica)!

In our ROOTS section, we take a look back at the Soweto Uprising, the student protest against Apartheid on June 16, 1976 in South Africa, and remember the students who loss their lives to the violence of Apartheid while our ROCK section remembers Sam Nzima, the legendary photographer from South Africa who took the photo that exposed Apartheid to the world. Sam Nzima passed away in May 2018 and IRIE wants to remember his legacy for changing the world. Respect!

For our RELEASES section, we featured French Soul-Reggae artist Delphine and her new single release for ‘It’s Nature’, while our RIDDIMS section introduces Young Veterans Music and their latest riddim, Fire Avenue, which features artists Capleton, Luciano, Pressure, Fantan Mojah, Shuga, Ginjah, Fyakin, Anthony B, Kandi, Zamunda, Craig, HiKaliba and the Young Veterans.
