WORLDWIDE – March 29, 2018 – 4:20 pm – IRIE™, the reggae magazine for everything roots rock reggae music, today released its March 2018 Cali Reggae edition of IRIE™ honoring human rights activist, Marielle Franco, on the cover. The Brazilian city council member was assassinated on March 14, 2018 by unknown assailants. She will always be Present! Now and Forever! Please remember Marielle Franco. By doing so, we will let the world know that her struggle will not go in vain.

In our ROOTS section, we chronicle the beginnings of Women’s History Month while our ROCK feature presents the track, Rebel, the first single for Raging Fyah’s upcoming fourth album under VP Records Dub Rockers Label.

For our RELEASES feature, we featured the Vibronics release of Woman on a Mission: Cultural Resistance, featuring 8 female vocalists on 8 brand new Vibronics tracks. Artists featured include Boney L (recording for the first time in 10 years), Nia Songbird, Vanya O and Saraléne, alongside first time collaborations with Trilla Jenna, Nanci Correia, Nish Wadada & Sis I-Leen. 10% of the profits of the album support the Women’s charity Womankind – Transforming the lives of Women & Girls Worldwide.
