Irie Magazine Issue #10 is Available Now!

Irie October 2014 Issue Featuring Peter Tosh

WORLDWIDE – October 2, 2014 – ZOOLOOK, a new media agency and publishing house (publishers of the Dread & Alive comic book series), today released issue #10 of the independent reggae magazine, Irie, featuring the Stepping Razor, Peter Tosh, on the cover. The october 2014 issue is dedicated to the life, spirit and legacy of Peter Tosh, the rasta rebel who spoke out against apartheid and segregation; police brutality and government corruption (shitstem) all while demanding equal rights and justice. The Bush Doctor was one of the first, if not the first, musician to passionately advocate for the legalization of Marijuana. This issue is a tribute to his life and legacy!

The issue includes exclusive interviews with three of Peter’s children, Niambe McIntosh, who is the administrator of the Peter Tosh Estate, Tosh 1 and Andrew Tosh, who is the nephew of the last Wailer, Bunny Wailer. It also features interviews with Fikisha Cumbo, the Executive Director/CEO of CACE International and the author of Bob Marley & Peter Tosh Get Up! Stand Up! Diary of a Reggaeophile; and Bunny “Striker” Lee, the Jamaican record producer who is one of the major forces in the Jamaican music industry.

Irie’s RESPECT section features artists Hempress Sativa, Pressure Busspipe, Jah9, Lutan Fyah, Bushman, Kabaka Pyramid, Jah Bouks, Taffari and Natty King, as they share their thoughts on what Peter Tosh’s music meant to them.
