STONEFRENGE: Close Encounters is the next chapter in Multidisciplinary Artist and Musician ZOOLOOK’s musical journey — continuing his evolution as a storyteller, composer, and visual world-builder. This project, his sophomore album, deepens the mythos and expands the universe of STONEFRENGE into new dimensions of contact, mystery, and cosmic imagination.
This is the first step toward a much larger narrative experience — one that includes a STONEFRENGE feature film series.
STONEFRENGE: Close Encounters is rooted in the language of UFOlogy, sci-fi cinema, and experimental sound. It’s also deeply personal to ZOOLOOK — an artistic response to themes of isolation, transformation, and the search for meaning in a world full of cosmic noise.
I’m using Kickstarter to bring my vision to life independently—through my own label and my own studio, with no outside interference. Just me and you. The funds raised will go directly toward vinyl and CD production, along with marketing to help this project reach the audience it deserves. – ZOOLOOK
On February 29, 2024, ZOOLOOK released his debut album, STONEFRENGE: Black in Space — a nine-track sonic odyssey that launched on a rare leap day, marking a unique sound. The album explored Black identity, futurism, and sound design through an Afrofuturist lens. The first song on the album, Soul Rebel, managed to catch the ears of Don Letts of Culture Clash Radio on BBC Radio 6.

Founded by musician and educator Eugene Rodriguez, Los Cenzontles began as an artist-led effort to keep Mexican roots music alive—and has since evolved into a groundbreaking model for culturally centered arts education. A signature project, Routes of Resilience, showcases personal stories from Mexican-American communities using music, documentary film, and digital media. The project connects the past with the present, drawing on traditional and contemporary art forms. It has earned multiple grants from the National Endowment for the Arts for its innovative approach.
