The Greatest Story Never Told
With four songs completed from his upcoming debut album, STONEFRENGE, scheduled to release on October 31, 2022, Nicholas Da Silva, aka ZOOLOOK, has been working hard at developing the animated series behind his music. You see, the origin of STONEFRENGE began on October 15, 2003, during his years as a flash pioneer and guru.
ZOOLOOK just launched TGSNT (The Greatest Story Never Told), a flash storytelling competition designed to encourage and promote storytelling using FlashMX 2004. He was in his 3rd year of producing FlashTV, a website and brand he created that became the premier site for emerging artists, animators, and filmmakers who embrace FlashMX as their authoring tool for creating original, compelling stories.
He launched FlashTV under the URL https://www.iwantmyflashtv.com, on July 20, 2001, with forty original flash-animated stories by some of the top animators in the world. My hosting partner was MediaTemple, the bad boys of web-hosting for creatives. As a result, FlashTV would rack up countless awards and honors from the Flash community. It would also become the firestarter for TGSNT.
With the full support of Media Temple and their Media Strategist, Jason McVearry, he challenged flash storytellers by giving them three months to produce an original story using FlashMX or any 3rd party software that exports to the .swf platform.
Their story had to be an original idea based on one of the twenty genres of FlashTV. He opened the competition to novice and advanced Macromedia Flash animators and filmmakers worldwide. As the participants worked on their entries, ZOOLOOK began working on the backstory for T.G.S.N.T., an idea he kept inside but needed to get out. He knew that some of the earliest evidence of storytelling came from prehistoric cave paintings, so he decided to create a character for the festival, a caveman or cavedude™ named Leno. He called him ‘Leno’ after one of my favorite songs for snowboarding, Poor Leno (2001), by the Electronic duo, Röyksopp. The following year, ZOOLOOK introduced Kaya, the Rasta Cavedude for T.G.S.N.T. II, and a flash-based foosball game titled Miniball. The game would garner ZOOLOOK, the prestigious FWA award, followed by the Macromedia Site of the Day (SOTD) honors.
Flashforward to 2022, and ZOOLOOK is now ready to bring STONEFRENGE to the masses.

On August 6, 2022, ZOOLOOK and IRIE will kick off the Primal League season with the official Rockers FC NFT drop, which coincides with the start of the 2022/23 Premier League season. Established in 2007, the Rockers FC is a coed football club from STONEFRENGE.
