Nefatari

From Most Promising Female Artist at the 11th annual Underground Music Awards, to Irie Jam Radio 2017 Female Singer of The Year, singer-songwriter Reggae Pop Star Nefatari boasts many accolades to her resume.

The Caribbean/American Nefatari began her career as a model, and was featured in ads for mega brand Dell Computers and on the runway for renowned designer Tommy Hilfiger.

Her transition into music began when she auditioned to sing back up for actress and singer Lindsey Lohan and her impressive vocals won her the job, who then went on to also sing backgrounds for Spice Girls’ Emma Bunton. The latter was an aim to a mean, as Nefatari wanted to launch her career as a solo artist.

The first Caribbean artist to perform at the Essence Music Festival, Nefatari has graced impressive stages such as Irie Jamboree, Reggae Rhythm and Blues, Oracabessa, and P. Diddy’s Digital Divas Showcase.

She was also hand picked to perform at Alonzo Mourning, Donald Trump, and Shaquille Oneil’s annual golf tournament and Brooklyn Fashion Weekend three seasons in a row.

As Reggae and Dancehall becomes more and more omnipresent on a global stage, Nefatari stands out as a Queen among Queens.
