Nath the Lions

Indonesia

Nath The Lions is a reggae band from Tebet, Indonesia featuring female vocalist Sista Nath, the ‘Queen of Indonesian Reggae’.

As the songwriter and leader of the band, Sista Nath has wore her hair in dreadlocks since 2010 as a form of commitment and loyalty to reggae music even though she is not rastafarian. Reggae, according to her and her bandmates, is a real-life philosophy in everyday life. That’s what drives them to produce their music with a real theme of life.

Nath The Lions released their first EP on March 3, 2013, titled ‘Aminah Menjadi Berita’ which featured five original songs.

On February 6, 2016, they released their first full album, ‘We Are Blessed’. They also collaborated with artist Ras Muhamad on the track, ‘Let your light shine’, with Irievibration of Riddim Village Compilation.

In November 2017, they released the single, ‘Jangan buatku Menunggu’ under their publisher and label, MANS Entertainment.

Last month saw the release of Nath the Lions latest single, ‘Bismillah Alhamdulillah’, a song that tells the story about the daily life of the local people of Indonesia and how many of them follow the religion of Islam.
