Mpress Kandace is an Australian female reggae singer. Her sound is distinctive, powerful and emotive.

As the former lead singer of roots reggae band Rasta Unity, Mpress Kandace has previously released singles such as ‘Sweet Love’ and ‘Youth Rize Up’ (feat. Lutan Fyah), premiering on Reggaeville.

Mpress Kandace has regularly performed in Melbourne, Australia at major reggae festivals and events including Reggae Cruise, Jamaican Music and Food Festival, Bob Marley B’day Bash, More Fire and many more. She has also performed in Brazil with New Rise Band.

Mpress Kandace has strong community connections and has coordinated and delivered community-focused projects such as Roots Culture Festival and Youth Rize Up reggae workshops. Mpress Kandace is passionate about developing bridges between emerging artists and producers.

Mpress Kandace has had the opportunity to record and perform at reggae events and various venues in Kingston, Jamaica including Dada Earl Chinna’s Empress Menen Groundation and Jamnesia.

Most recently, Mpress Kandace recorded her debut EP at Versi’s Studio 99 Mountain View, Kingston in Jamaica, working alongside reggae artist Flames Eye and music producer D Dan Cawvinz.

The title track from the EP is called ‘Let Us Unite’ and is a collaboration with Californian producers Stoney Eye Productions and Soultry Dubs.
