Irae Divine

Raynice Gomillion, known to her fans as the lovely and dynamic ‘Irae Divine’, was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. Growing up in Philadelphia within a musically rich family environment, she began singing at an early age. Irae’s thirst to sing and perform took her to church, plays and talent shows. Involvement with an R&B band eventually leads Irae to the heartfelt pulse of Reggae Music.

Irae Divine finds love and inspiration in Roots and Culture. Performances of groups: Marcia Griffiths, Sister Carol, Black Uhuru, Third World, Burning Spear, Twinkle Brothers and Bob Marley influence and set the template and direction of Irae Divine’s musical growth.

Irae Divine has sung background vocals for artists: Junior Toots, Lutan Fyah, Messenjah Selah, Chezidek, Tuff Lion, Army, Danny I, Arkaingelle, Luv Fyah, Binghi Ghost and Blaak Lung and has performed with Taurus Riley, Anthony B, Kymani Marley, Midnite and Million Stylez. Irae found a work with 7th St. Band & Fyah Squad Band working on her original material.

Irae Divine recently recorded with Yellow Man plus her debut solo release produced by Rankin Scroo the Urban Reggae “Godfada” at Crucial Youth Productions studio in Oakland, California.

Irae Divine’s main goal is to heal and uplift the massive with love, good music and Roots and Culture.
